Being the best man, i have to organise stag stuff. Plan is to go paintballing on saturday 16th september and go to eddies in the evening.

Note to self: Don't leave fish tank open when going to clean the filter. Pandora (Lanky's cat) decided it would be fun to fulfill her life long wish, of being a fish, by jumping into the tank. She then had a change of heart and jumped out again. She soaked my bed, my floor, my revision notes, the plug board, wrecked the plant arangement in the tank, scared the fish half to death and scared herself half to death.

Well, that was embarassing. nodded off in Hume lecture and fell into Leona, woke up and shook my head in a just woken up kind of way.
Lecturer: Someone seems to be vigourously shaking their head. you disagree with that point?
Me (in my head): What point? where am i? is he talking to me?
Lecturer: have you got something to say about this?
Me (in my head): what what what what what?
My face went bright red and i shook my head in a please stop looking at me kind of way. I'm sure my lecturer loves me now. meeeeehhhhhhhh Good times!

After doing no exercise for a month i just played 4 50min games of ultimate. i can't actually move my legs now. Can't wait to get back to uni, yeah right. On the plus side i got my team top, fuck yeah, i'm number 16. and i had a good night last night.

I don't understand David Hume or what he means by reason or passions. I don't understand Enrico Dandalos role in the Fourth Crusade or who else were key figures in the sacking of Constantinople. I love going to university, but i can't help wishing that i'd paid attention and actually done some work during the term. Thank God for gypsy jazz to keep me from going insane.

Just had a very fun seminar on ultilitarianism. It consisted of the lecturer using, for most of his points, the example of either kicking our heads in or punching us all in the face. The best two quotes were, 'if you can't trust a militant geurilla, then who can you trust' and 'it seems that the ultilitarian answer is that we all be spider-man.'

If anyone is free on saturday evening they should come to The Station in Kings Heath to see the band that i'm in. It's our first gig so it would be nice to see some friendly faces. As usual, i thought i might as well post as i never do. I haven't been out for ages cus i am being boring. Havn't done a fat lot in ages, but am happy at the moment cus i just wrote a cool bass line and found a site where you can print out blank sheet music paper. Anyone who is free tonight should come and see Trio Gitano, who are an amazing guitar trio. They play Flamenco sort of stuff, but that is a crap discription. Anyway, they are great and there will be two other acts as well.
It is at TC's in Selly Oak and me and other people (Si, Mads,maybe Ellie) are gettin there for about 7.00. Should be less than a fiver for entry. DO IT.

Just thought i would post as i never do and have been sitting looking at my computer screen for 10 minutes doing absolutely nothing. A 20 minute drum solo by Bonham can be quite mesmerising, not to mention the pretty colours on the screen saver. Anyway, i have nothing of great interest to say so i'm going to crawl back into my hole and not post again for another couple of months.
